Getting started

What herbe.calendar is, how to sign in, and how the calendar shell is laid out on day one.

herbe.calendar is a unified calendar that pulls your ERP activities, Outlook/Exchange meetings, Google calendar events, Zoom calls, Calendly bookings, and any ICS feed into a single view. You see your own day and your colleagues' days side by side, create and edit ERP activities without opening the ERP desktop client, and share your availability or accept meeting bookings from a public link.

The app lives at your organization's calendar URL. There is no separate mobile install required — open it on your phone and install it as a PWA (the browser will offer a prompt). For the native iOS app see Mobile app and widgets.

Signing in

herbe.calendar uses email magic links — no password to remember. Enter your work email on the login page and click Send link. A sign-in email arrives within seconds; click the link and you're in.

The link is single-use and expires after a short window. If it expires before you click, request a new one.

The calendar shell

After sign in you land on the calendar at /cal. Everything in the app happens inside this one screen — no page navigations, just panel and modal overlays on top of the grid.

The top bar contains:

  • Account switcher (left) — if you belong to more than one organization, use this to switch. Hotkey: Ctrl/Cmd+A.
  • View selector — 1 day, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, Month.
  • Date navigation — back, forward, Today, and a date-picker to jump anywhere.
  • Persons — choose whose calendars to show. You can display multiple colleagues' columns side by side.
  • Sources — toggle visibility of individual calendar sources (ERP, Outlook, Google, ICS, etc.).
  • Favorites — saved view presets with optional public share links.
  • Search — find events and activities across all sources.
  • Settings — theme, color overrides, integrations, and booking templates.

A thin status strip below the top bar shows loading progress and any stale-connection warnings. It collapses when idle.

What you can do from here

  • Create an event or task — click any empty time slot, or use the + button in the top bar.
  • Open an activity — click any event block to see full details in a side drawer. Comments, attachments, and watchers are in the same drawer.
  • Switch views — Day/week views show person columns across and hours down. Month view shows a 6×7 grid with a day-detail panel on the side.
  • Kanban — a separate view for your ERP pipeline boards. See Kanban.
  • Tasks — a separate view for your tasks across ERP, Outlook, and Google. See Tasks.

The keyboard shortcut ? opens a reference of every shortcut in the app.
