Tasks
Viewing and managing tasks from ERP, Outlook To Do, and Google Tasks in one list.
The Tasks view collects your tasks from every connected source — Standard Books ERP, Outlook To Do, and Google Tasks — into a single list. Switch to it by clicking Tasks in the view selector at the top of the calendar.
Sources
Tasks come from three places:
- ERP — Standard Books activity records flagged as tasks or to-dos.
- Outlook To Do — tasks from your connected Microsoft 365 account.
- Google Tasks — tasks from any Google account you've connected under Settings → Integrations.
iOS Reminders appear as read-only items sourced from your device. You can see them here but you edit them in the Reminders app.
Each task row shows its source with a color and a small source mark, so you always know where a task lives.
Completing and editing tasks
Click a task row to open the detail drawer. From the drawer you can:
- Mark the task complete (checkbox at the top)
- Edit the title, description, and due date
- Set or change a repeat rule — see Repeat
Completions and edits write through to the source system. An ERP task updates the Standard Books record. An Outlook task updates your Outlook To Do list.
Creating tasks
Press N or click the + button while in the Tasks view to open a new task form. Choose the target source from the dropdown at the top of the form. The task will be created directly in that system.
Filtering
Use the filter chips above the list to show tasks by source, due date range, or completion status. Tasks with no due date appear at the bottom of the list.
Repeat rules
Any ERP, Outlook, or Google task can have a repeat rule that automatically creates the next occurrence on a schedule. Long-press a task row (or open it and find the Repeat row) to set one. See Repeat for how this works.
